Glorit. —Mrs. R. A. Gardner presided at the monthly meeting of the branch. Items were given bv Mrs. Dickson and Miss R. Gardner. Waiteitei.—The northern organiser of the Women's Division of the Farmers' Union. Mrs. Ralph Osbaldiston recently formed a new branch at Waiteitei". Visitors from the Hoteo North branch were:— Mesdar.ies H. Coates, (*. Marton and G. Stevenson, lhe fo !owim- officers were elected:-President, Mrs. L. Barker; vice-president, Mrs. W. Smith; secretary and treasurer, Mrs J. Sands; committee. Misses Bradley and Barker. Mrs. Osbaldiston gave a'talk on the work done by the organisation. Afternoon tea was served by Mrs. Logue. Karaka. —The president, All's. It. Slack welcomed visitors from Drurv ;)iid Waiau Pa. Mrs. W. H. Parkes, ol Auckland, gave an address on the Coronation. The results of the competitions were: —Evening spray, Miss Costar 1; Mrs. Higlnitn 2; best bloom, Mrs. Costar 1. Afternoon tea was served by Mrs. Lewis, Mrs. Montgonierie and Mrs. Grant. Pukekohe Fast.—Mrs. S. Morgan reported on the recent group meeting. The proposed dressmaking class was discussed and twelve members agreed to join. Mrs. Smith demonstrated the making of crochet collars. The results of the competitions were: —Bed socks, Mrs. M. H. Johnston, 1 and 2, Miss Mavis Johnston, .'3; best bloom, Mrs. J. Morgan, 1, Mrs. S. Hamilton, 2, Mrs. G. Johnston, !5.
