FUTURE OF SHOWBOAT
FOR SALE FOR REMOVAL HARBOUR BOARD DECISION Offers for tho purchase for removal beyond the harbour limits of the hulk Columbia, more recently the floating cabaret, the Showboat, are sought by tho Auckland Harbour Board. The board will receive offers until noon on September 9. The hulk is now lying adjacent to the eastern reclamation. The board announces that it is a condition of sale that delivery of tho hulk shall be taken by the purchaser in its present position, and that it is to be permanently removed out of tho harbour limits within a month from the dato of acceptance of tho offer.
