Critchley, Australian Trade Commissioner in New Zealand, arrived from Wellington yesterday to meet Sir Earle Page, deputy-Prime Minister of Australia and Minister of Commerce, who will reach Auckland by the Monterey on Friday on his return from Britain and will make a short stay in the Dominion. Mr. Critchley is at the Grand Hotel.

Mr. J. S. Barton, chairman of the Bondholders' Incorporation Commission, who presided yesterday at a sitting of the commission which ~ dealt with questions affecting New Zealand Perpetual Forests, Limited, and New Zealand Forests Products, Limited, left last night by the limited • express for Wellington. He will return to Auckland in about a fortnight, when the commission will deal with several questions yet to bs settled between the two companies.
