50 PEOPLE FALL IN HEAP RESULT OF SLIP. ON STAIRS (Received August "JO, G. 30 p.m.) NEW YORK. August 20 Eight persons died of suffocation and many wore injured in an unusual accident in a cinema theatre in San Luis Potosi, Mexico. The crowd upon the balcony, at the conclusion of the programme, started to go downstairs and someone stumbled, causing 50 people to fall in a heap. Those at the bottom were smothered to death before they could be extricated.
