RIVER MOUTH REOPENED
FLOOD WATER RELEASED [llY TELEGRAPH —OWN CORRESPONDENT] OPOTIKI. Monday Ono of the results of the storm on Tuesday night was that the mouth of the Waiawn l?iver became blocked with sand and flooded land near the mouth of the river. A narrow cut was put through and the river has widened this out' and the level has now returned to normal.
