POWER BOAT SOCIAL

DANCING AND BRIDGE Specially decorated for the occasion, the Catholic Women's League rooms were the scene of a gay party given by the New Zealand Power Boat Association on Saturday night. The function took tho form of a progressive bridge tournament and dance. The committee present comprised Mrs. IT. Walker, in flora I taffetas; Miss M. Tyrrell, floral georgette; Miss B. TJamblin, ebony taffetas; Miss BellBooth, midnight blue georgette; Miss B. Henderson, black talfetas. Others present were: —Mrs. P. Hamblin, Mrs. S. Pees, Mrs. A. Strahan, Mrs. Beesley, Mrs. B.
