VAN STRIKES BANK
passenger severely cut [bt telegraph—owx corkf.spondf.kt] OPOTIKI, Monday While returning to Opotiki from batata in a motor-van, Mr. Bert Bussell received severe cuts on the head n 'hen the vehicle struck a bank. 'I he Vfl n, which was driven by Mr. J. Boss, tvas travelling through the White Pino diisH, near Tnneatua, when it struck the toe of a slip which had been partly cleared and ran into the bank. Mr. Hussell was admitted to the Opotiki -hospital. A son of Mr. Ross received slight injuries from broken glass.
