LABOURER ON THEFT CHARGE [by TELEGRAPH —PHKSS ASSOCIATION] PALMEHSTOX NORTH, Thursday As a sequel to the disappearance of a safe last Thursday night from the premises'of Buglass and Brewer, Taonui Street, and its discovery, forced open, a few miles from the city by a farmer. Leonard Norman Crawford, aged Ml, a labourer, was charged at the Magistrate's Court with breaking and entering and the theft of a safe, books and money of a total value of £2O. Accused was remanded.
