QUARANTINE METHODS
SHIPS FROM OVERSEAS AUCKLAND SYSTEM PRAISED High tribute to the efficiency of the quarantine regulations adopted by the port boarding officers of Auckland was paid by Dr. J. C. Geiger, director of tho Department of Public Health for the city and county of San Francisco, who was a through passenger by the Mariposa yesterday. He said tho authorities were deserving of credit for tho maximum efficiency of their methods, because they caused ship passengers a minimum of delay, "'lhe regulations are so well carried out that they might well be copied in mail} other much larger ports of tho world, Dr. Geiger added.
