Fine Feathers Make Fine Ladies!
The captivating little toque in the centre is not only entirely composed of ostrich feathers cunningly fashioned to form a cap with a foundation of soft brown fur, but is also becomingly trimmed with a sweeping plume at the back. C'n the left is a youthful cap of black felt with a "topknot" of shaded blue ostrich "fronds" and curled ostrich feather " flowers." On the right a diminutive cap of black velvet is finished with an upstanding rosette of vivid green :i feathers. ; —Blako
