COUNTRY HOUSE MYSTERY
Grot Lane stages "The Jled Mirror Mystery," a, domestic tragedy, in a remote Cornish country house. 'J. ho victim is the mistress of Landsedge, a wealthy woman with distinct charm and glamour, hut heartless, relentless and unscrupulous, and more or less detested by all. Consequently, when she is murdered there are many suspects, and red herrings innumerable cross our track before the mystery is solved.
Most people will find it difficult to spot tljci murderer. All will cujo.v meeting Inspector Hook. After a spell of good service nt Scotland Yard lie has been transferred at 11is own request to liis native Cornish market town, and thus his activities in the story play among his own people, all of whom know one another and have a tradition in common.
