POSTPONED VISIT DISAPPOINTMENT IN SAMOA [frou our own correspondent] APIA. July 28 There was a feeling of disappointment right through the territory when the decision of His Excellency the Governor-General to postppne indefinitely his proposed visit was announced. Yet it was generally conceded that the decision was a wise one, as the whole group was in the throes of epidemics, and there was scarcely a family v that was not more or less afflicted with either measles, influenza—much of it gastric-—and pneumonia. The hope is expressed that Lord and Lady Galway will be able to visit Samoa before their term of office has expired.
