CRUSHING PLANT INSTALLED [from our own correspondent] POKENO, Friday To incct the demand for first-class crushed motal for the Pokeno-Paoroa highway and the new railway line, a largo modern dragline scoop crusher, and screening plant, has been set up at the head of the Mangatawhiri Valley, wliero largo shingle deposits occur. The plant, which is electrically operated, has been built entirely in New Zealand. Operations were begun on Wednesday, tAvo shifts being worked to supply the demand from the Main Highways Board and the Public Works Department. •
