WEEK-END ATTRACTIONS

| EDEN PARK CHARITY DAY NORTH ISLAND SOCCER FINAL . The annual charity day will be held at Eden Park this afternoon when the chief match will bo between Mount Albert Grammar School and Sacred Heart College for the secondary schools' senior Rugby championship. These two teams arc equal for the championship and a fast, open match is anticipated. The curtain-raiser will bo between the old rivals, Auckland Grammar School and King's College. Seddon Memorial Technical College will play Takapuna Grammar School on No. 3 ground at 1 p.m. The principal Association football match will be the North Island final of the Chatham Cup competition, winch will bo held at Blandford Park. The teams to contest the match will be Ponsonby (Auckland) and Waterside (Wellington). The Association championships will bo continued. The leading teams in the Auckland Rugby League senior competition will meet at Carlaw Park, when the main match will be between Madst and Richmond. Hockey enthusiasts will bo interested in the match for the New Zealand Challenge Shield, which will be contested by Auckland and Waikato. The final scries of games for the Devonport Shield will be played. Golf clubs will continue their contests and the town versus country game will be played at Hamilton between an Auckland team and one selected from country players. Tlio Auckland Cycling Centre's "round tho harbour" event and a shorter race for juniors will be. held, and tho winter sports of the Auckland Amateur Athletic and Cycle Club will bo continued in tho Outer Domain-. Harrier clubs will hold runs and there will also bo basketball matches.
