KILLED IN CRASH
AIRCRAFT DESIGNER LOJCDOX, Antcust ® A noted aircraft designer. Captain Frank Sowter Barnwell, was* killed at Bristol airport when a monoplane he had designed for private use crashed shortly after taking off. Captain Barnwell was aged' 58, and ninon<i the earliest to make experiments in aviation. He served with the Roval~ Air Force in the war.
