The Union Company's transtasman liner Awatea, at Prince's Wharf, is scheduled. to sail at fivo o'clock this afternoon for Sydney, where she is duo on Thursday. With 2000 tons of sulphur from Galveston, the American Trading and Shipping Company's chartered motor-ship Salamaua is expected hero this afternoon and will berth at Prince's Wharf. The Salamaua, which proceeded to Auckland via Vancouver, Suva and Lautoka, is expected to sail on Wednesday or Thursday for Sydney. The Watchlin Line motor-ship Port Waikato will be transferred from King's Wharf to Central Wharf this evening. The Northern Company's motor-ship Clansman will be transferred to Central Wharf this morning to discharge and will sail tonight for the North. From Gishorne and East Coast ports, the motor-ship Margaret W. is expected to reach Auckland this morning and will berth at King's Wharf. The Union Company's steamer Kartigi. which reached Auckland from Westport at noon on Saturday, will be transferred to Chelsea this morning. On completion of discharge, she will sail for Portland. THE CITY OF PITTSBURGH The M.A.N.Z. Line steamer City of Pittsburgh left Montreal on Thursday for Auckland. She is expected to arrive here about August 31 ZEALANDIC LOADING The Shaw, Savin and Albion motor ship Zealandic arrived from Opua yesterday morning and berthed at Central Wharf to continue loading for London.

THE CANADIAN CONSTRUCTOR The M.A.N.Z. Line steamer Canadian Constructor, at Queen's Wharf, is scheduled to sail for Wellington this evening to continue discharge. SHIPS TO DOCK The Un:lon Company's motor-ship Matua will enter Calliope Dock this morning for survey. After Yvork on the Matua has been completed the Albyn Line steamer Thistlegarth, discharging at Chelsea, will enter dock, probably toward the end of the week. THE LINER AORANGI The Canadian Australasian liner Aorangi reached Vancouver at 11 p.m. last Thursday. She is expected to sail at 10 a.m. on Wedne® day for Victoria, Honolulu, Suva and Auckland. She is scheduled to arrive here on August 21 and will sail the following day for Sydney. WANGANELLA FOR WELLINGTON The Huddart-Parker motor-liner Wanganella cleared Sydney shortly after five o'clock on Saturday afternoon for Wellington, where she is due on Wednesday. After her return to Australia she will leave Sydney on Angust 13 for Auckland, and is scheduled to arrive on August 17. NARDANA'S PROGRAMME The British India steamer Nardans, which is discharging hardwood from Western Australia at King's Wharf, is expected to sail to-morrow for Wellington, Lytteiton and Dunedin. She will later sail for Newcastle to bunker before loading wheat in South Australia for Bombay. MAUNGANUI FOR ISLANDS The Union Company's cruise steamer Maunganui, which cleared Auckland at an early hour on Saturday morning, reached Wellington at noon yesterday. The Maunganui is scheduled to leave Wellington on her second Islands cruise to-day and is duo here again on August 17.
