BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS The fourth birthday of the New Zealand Club (late Kia Ora) was celebrated at the Overseas Club in Sydney recently The evening took the form of a dance and musicale. The artists assisting were Miss .Janis (Wellington), Miss .Joan Corslii (Wellington), Mrs. E. Hempton (late of Wellington) and Mr Neville Rev is (champion operatic singer at the B.vdney Eisteddfod). About 100 guests Vrere present. A presentation bouquet was made to the wife of the retiring president and i the new president, Mr. Aubrey HaJloran, was welcomed A large birthday cake was cut bv the founder and first chairwoman, Mrs. Elenor Hempton, the guests Ringing "For She's a Jolly Good follow."
