TAURANGA INTERESTS
ROUND OF SOCIAL VISITS The music circle of the Lyceum Club at Tauranga held a most enjoyable "fireside evening," shaded lights and easy chairs providing a restful and pleasant atmosphere. Musical items were given by Mesdames C. Boak, L. A. James, M. P. Munro, J. Mackay, J. J. Standrin, Pole, and Christian, and elocutionary numbers by Mrs. Undine Clarke. An amusing competition was won by Mrs. M. Mann. Mrs. J. Spottiswoue, of Edgecumbo Road, has returned from a holiday visit to Auckland. Mrs. Arthur Skinner, Willow Street, has returned from Auckland. Miss Mary Bates loft last week on an Jsland cruise. i Mrs. McCartney, Cameron Road, has returned from an extended visit to Christehurch. M iss L. R. -Roseveare is the guest of I her mother, Mrs. T. H. Roseveare, at The Manse, Miss Eileen Sweeney, of Auckland, is a visitor to The Mount.
