The priest was Sheikh Alimur el Kliatib, who was for 30 years Imam of the Dome of Hock in Haramesh Sheif.

Bombs thrown into a paper warehouse wounded two Jews.

The British battle cruiser Repulse is remaining at Haifa, and 20 officers and 254 men have been landed to assist in maintaining order.
