SUM OF £54,000 COLLECTED HIGHEST TOTAL SINCE 1931 (Received July 10, 5.5 p.m.) British "Wireless RUGBY, July 9 Street collections taken up yesterday for the benefit, of hospitals and charities for the sick, in memory of the late Queen Alexandra, amounted to about £54,000 —the highest total since 1931.
