SINGER'S RECITALS

For a number of years principal basso at the Berlin Opera House, Alexander Kipnis, who has been engaged by the National Broadcasting Service, will appear in the Town Hall on Tuesday, July 19, and again on the following Saturday. During his period in Berlin Kipnis sang the basso parts in the Wagnerian operas—Wotan in "Siegfried," Hagen in "Gotterdnmrnerung" and Hans Saehsin in "Die Meistersinger." At the Bayreuth festival ho has sung under the conductorship of Toscanini, Wagner and Dr. Richard Strauss. Other details are advertised.
