STRIKE IN SINGAPORE
TRANSPORT SERVICES (Received July 7, 5.5 p.m.) SINGAPORE. July 7 Thousands of Singapore office workers walked to their offices this morning owing to a strike by the entire staif of the Singapore Traction Company tieing up the bus and trolley-bus services. Strikers' pickets poured oil on taxis commissioned by the Government to help solve the transport problem.
