MAINTENANCE IN WAIKATO OTHER CENTRES COMPARED [from our own correspondent] HAMILTON, Thursday "Although costs are rising, we have something to be thankful for in that the annual maintenance cost of a bed in the Waikato Hospital is by far the lowest among the class 1 hospitals in the Dominion," said the chairman of the Waikato Hospital Hoard, Mr. F. Findlav, at a meeting of the board to-day. Mr. Findlay said the annual maintenance costs- per bed per annum in the five principal hospitals of New Zealand were as follows:—Auckland, £2lO Is; Wellington, £221 7s; Ghristchurch, £202 ss; Dunedin. £202 9s; Waikato, £l4O.
