OPPOSITION LEADER
A MEMBER'S TRIBUTE [BY TEI.EfiRAPIf—OWN CORRESPONDENT] WELLINGTON, Tuesday "The municipal elections are an indication of what is going to happen in November. No one is more concerned about the present position than the Ministry, and its big guns are out all over the country trying to stem the progress we are making," said Mr. S. G. Holland, M.P., in his add ress a t a National Party meeting in' Wellington. "About tho worst they can say about us is that my esteemed leader, the Hon. A. Hamilton, is 'a tough guy,' " Mr. Holland added. "1 count it a very great privilege to serve under his leadership. Throughout the length and breadth of this country he has become known as a man of great sincerity and singleness of purpose, and tho two recent occasions in which 110 had tho opportunity of speaking over tho National Broadcasting Service ho lias created a most favourablo impression that has been a considerable embarrassment to the present Labour administration. I am sure that the prospects of Mr. Hamilton being the Prime Minister of 1938, lending a National Party of progressive, clear-thinking administrators, is a very real one."
