POSITION IN LONDON SALARY STATED AT £2500 BATSMAN NEGOTIATING LONDON. June 26 The Daily Mirror states that Don Bradman is considering an offer of £2500 a year from the Sports Investors Society, Limited, London, described as a firm of bookmakers. Bradman is said to have pointed out that he is bound by contract for some time, but the society is prepared to renew its offer on the expiration of Bradman's present engagement, and Bradman has promised to consider it. Interviewed by a representative of the Australian Associated Press, Bradman confirmed the statement that ho had received certain correspondence on the question, but ho regarded the whole affair as confidential and could not state when he would be likely to decide.
