The course, which is now considered the equal of any metropolitan one in the country, played splendidly as could be judged from the outstanding performances of D. Morpeth, jun., who netted 59, and_ B. White, 08 net, off a handicap of JO. No more than eight, strokes covered the next 03 -competitors.
