REMOTE HOME IN BUSH , , . i J BRIDE TRAVELS 4000 MILES Dcrry Thomas, dark, attractive, and 26-year-old London girl, set out last month on a 4000-mile journey to be married. Fiance William Murrell, is the manager of a tin mine in Northern Nigeria, and Derrv Thomas' now home is 150 miles in the bush away from the nearest town of Kaduna. When I spoke to her just before she sailed, she had been buying her trousseau, writes a special correspondent of tho Sunday Chronicle, "1 expect I've got one of the strangest trousseaux anybody ever bought," she told me. "It mostly consists of riding breeches, drill tunics and mosquito boots. "We became engaged last October when my fiance was in Londmi on leave, and wo are to bo married in June. Wo plan to return to London on short leave at tho end of next year." Miss Thomas had been inoculated against yellow fever, para-typhoid, smallpox and typhoid.
