FREEZING INDUSTRY
EARLY CLOSE OF SEASON GISBORNE'S REDUCED OUTPUT [by TELEGRAPH —OWN CORRESPONDENT] GISBORNE, Friday Tho end of the freezing season is in sight and unless further stock is offering tho Kaiti works will close next week. Usually sufficient stock is found to keep tho slaughtermen engaged on sheep and cattle well into July. Killings have been lower than last season, sheep being down by about 25,000, lambs by 45,000, and cattle by approximately 1000.
