NEW COURT BUILDING

VOTE FOR WHANGAREI WORK [by telegraph—PßESS association] WELLINGTON, Friday A new building for the Supremo Court is to bo erected at Whangarci. The Minister of Justice, the Hon. H. G. R. Mason, stated to-night that in order to facilitate construction the Cabinet had approved payment of £BOOO toward the cost of the basement. "This will enable the Public Works Department to proceed immediately with work on the basement while plan's and specifications are being prepared for the superstructure," Mr. Mason said.
