WRESTLING
BLOMFI ELD TO MEET MEEHAN Can Pat Meehan prove that tho decision given against him the last timo ho wrestled Lofty Blomfield in Auckland should have been awarded to him instead? He will have a chance to do so next Monday night, when he and Blomfield will meet again. Meehan has been wrestling as well as anyone in the country during the past few weeks, and, although his win against Fralcy was earned on the hitter's disqualification, he had his full share of the honours in tho bout. When Meehan ami Blomfield met previously one of the finest bonis of the season resulted. Although tho Canadian prefers the exchanges to follow mainly orthodox lines, in which he is able to make his presence felt in no uncertain fashion because of his speed, strength and skill, ho does not allow anyone to take liberties with him, and the spectators will get all the excitement they want when he sets out fo repel Blonifield's attacks. Th following amateur bouts have been arranged:—A. Nicholl (Awhitu), list 21b, v. J. Aspin (Kiwi), list 41b; V. Aspih (Awhitu), list 01 b, v. J. Apps (Otahuhu), 12st 21b; K. Hulme (Kiwi), lOst Gib, v.
