PIRATE SHIP CARNIVAL

In its floodlit setting on Milford Beach the Pirate Ship cabaret was crowded on Saturday night for the weekly carnival dance. Softly tinted lights and attractive floral decorations provided an effective background for the throng of dancers. Musical numbers by the Cabaret Orchestra of six instruments were popular, and the introduction of a few modern items was also appreciated. The usual "old-time" dances were keenly enjoyed and there were many entrants for the Monte Carlo. Gjood transport arrangements encouraged many town visitors to be present.
