FIFTH GRADE REVISED JUNIOR TRIAL CONTEST WHITE HORSE CUP ENTRIES It was decided to revise the conditions of the fifth grade competition at a meeting of tho Auckland Hockey Association last night. For this soason the competition will be for boys under 16 years of age on May 1, or not over Bst. 71b. Special permission to play other boys may be obtained by clubs affected by this amendment. Messrs. W. Grace, H. Watts and H. McQuarrie wore nominated as umpires available for appointment for tho Auckland match against the Indian touring team, and also for the test match to bo played at Eden Park. Permission was granted to the Mount Eden Club to play a Thames-Hauraki team at Remuera on Juno iiG. The University Club was was also granted leave to have senior and second grade frames adjusted for July Q. the second grade game set down for this date to bo played on June 25 and the senior fixture to be held over in case it has any bearing on the championship result., A junior representative trial gahie will be played at Renutera next Saturday at 3 p.m. All second grade championship matches on this day will be played, at. 1.45 p.m. It was reported that a recprd number of 10 teams had entered for the White Horse Cup competition as follows:—Whangarei (2), Rodney CJ), Franklin (2). Waipa (2), Thames* lJauraki and Piako.
