GUARANTOR COUNTRIES CONFERENCE IN LONDON y• ■ ■ (Received June 10, 5.5 p.m.) British Wireless RUGBY, June 0 A meeting of representatives of countries which are guarantors of Austrian loans on which Germany has failed to meet the instalments was held in London to-day under the chairmanship of Sir Frederick Leith-Ross, chief economic adviser to the British Government. After a 'discussion the committee adjourned until to-morrow. FIRM STAND URGED CHAMBERS OF COMMERCE LONDON. June 9 The Association of British Chambers of Commerce sent a letter to Sir John Simon, Chancellor of the Exchequer, urging a firm stand regarding the Austrian loans, and promising support for strong action if Germany refuses to compromise.
