Device to Stop Door-Slamming

The motor-car door-slamming nuisance has been eliminated by an American concern, which has adopted a rotary latch spring which keeps doors pressed firmly" against safety catches and prevents rattles and takes up wear. The rotary latch used is a strong pintumbler lock type, which enables a ear door to be closed, even bv a child, silently, lightly and tightly. It engages securely at a gentle push oij pull of the door. Another point in favour of this type of door latch is that it automatically grips together with the motion of the car, even after years of use.
