BLASTING ACCIDENT
QUARRYMAN INJURED
Injuries to the face and eyes were suffered by a quarryman, Mr. George Jones, aged 34, married, of 17 Hardinge Street, City, in a blasting accident in a quarry yesterday morning. He was taken to the Auckland Hospital in a St. John ambulance. His condition last night was reported to be fairly serious.
