TRIAD CLUB MEETING PRESENTATION TO MEMBER This month's meeting of the Triad Club took the form of a Bohemian luncheon, held at the club s rooms yesterday. The convener, Airs. Edna D. Al. Doust, presided over a large attendance of women writers and friends. The guest of honour was Airs. Alarion Hurst, who was actively associated with the starting of this group ol women writers, poets and musicians, and who on her departure for Wellington, was presented with a handsome amber reading lamp and bouquets of flowers. I /. . i A number of excerpts from original work were read by members, the contributors including Mrs. Doust and Aliss Quill, poems; Mesd»mes Scott. M. Saunders, Aliss L. Hobbs, and Miss Nell Alartin, stories; and Aliss Q. Peacocke, a sketch. Among those present were: —Airs Edna D. M. Doust (convener), Mesdames Isabel M. Cluett. M. Saunders. AI. Colegrave, Una Craig, bydney Smith, Al. Hurst, B. Adams, R. Tennant, V. G. Petterson, E. Wilson W'ilson, Scott-Young, F. L. Moodie, Power, Scott, and the Alisses Q. Peacocke, F. M. Quill, Nell Martin, V de Alontalk, and L. A. Hobbs.
