SENIOB CHAMPIONSHIP TWO MATCHES AT EDEN PARK NORTH SHORE AND PONSONBY After North Shore's convincing defeat of Grafton last Saturday there is bound to he a great deal of interest in the main attraction at Eden Park this afternoon, when the former team is matched against Ponsonby. North Shore is now only one point behind Grafton, Grammar and Ponsonby, which lead-in the Gallaher Shield competition with eight points each. The defence of the North Shore team waj a feature of its play last week, and, if the fifteen reveals the form it showed against Grafton, the Ponsonby players will have all their work cut out to hold their own. Both sides possess fine loose forwards and the backs are fast and play an open game, so that a thrilling contest can be expected. The curtain-raiser will be between Gramm" and Marist.
