CHURCH FUNDS AIDED

EVENING AT BRIDGE /. devonport function Nearly 200 people were present at the Parish Hall, Devonport, on Tuesday night, when a bridge party in aid of the work of Holy Trinity Church, was held. An attractive decorative scheme had been carried out with coloured streamers interwoven to form an inner ceiling, while on the stage and in the porch were bowls of autumn tinned foliage and golden hued flowers. The guests were received by Mrs. B. R. Brierley, and assisting her were Mrs. R. Duder and Mrs. F. Mason. The committee in charge of arrangements comprised:—Mrs. C. Prime, Mrs. E. Alison, Mrs. H.
