CRICKET CLUB DANCE

FUNCTION AT HUNTLY A dance and card evening was held in the Town Hall at Huntly recently by the Huntly Senior Cricket Club. Six members of the Auckland women's representative cricket team were the guests of the club. They were Miss Evelyn Smythman (captain), Miss Margaret Koefoed, Miss Isabel Webb, Miss Alice Batty, Miss Eileen Eaton and Miss Irene Petersen.

The successful card players were: — Ladies: Mrs. E. McNamara, 1; Mrs. A. Hilton, 2. Gentlemen: Mr. J. Dean, 1; Mr. J. Shaw, 2.
