WORLD'S HEAVY-WEIGHT DEMPSEY FAVOURS SCHMELING Early betting still favours Joe Louis to turn the tables on Max Schmeling when they fight at New York on June 22 for tho world's heavy-weight boxing title. It is interesting, however, that Jack Dempsev agrees with Gene Tunney that Schmeling will win. Dempsev says:— " When an opponent does something unusual, Louis becomes befuddled. He does' not know how to roll his head away from a right, then counter. Worst of all, he permits a smart opponent to make him lean in when lie jabs. Thus he is off his balance, and a set-up for a hard right —Louis' right is off tho floor when his opponent roils back to shoot the right. "That is how Schmeling beat him before, and will do so again, and it is how Tommy Farr came close to beating him. Both of these men also broke the force of Louis' hooka and crosses by weaving and rolling with them."
