PORT OF AUCKLAND j TURAKINA AND WAIOTAPU The Canadian - Australasian liner Niagara, with about 300 passengers from Auckland, sailed lor Sydney yesterday afternoon in continuation of her voyage from Vancouver. She will reach Sydney on-- Sunday. The New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Turakina arrived from Liverpool, via Panama, early yesterday morning and berthed later at Queen's Wharf to discharge cargo from West Coast ports of Britain. She is expected to sail for Wellington on Tuesday. Under charter to the Government, the Union Company's steamer Waiotapu, at Prince's Wharf, will .sail this afternoon for Newcastle and Williamstown, Melbourne, to load a further wheat cargo. The Watchliu Line motor-ship Port Whangarei is expected this evening from Lyttelton. Sho will sail for Wellington and the south on Saturday. With cargo from Greymouth, the Union Company's steamer Kakapo is expected here to-day. The Union Company's motor-ship Waiana arrived from Wellington yesterday afternoon and berthed at Queen's V harf. She is expected to sail to-morrow for Wellington and the south. RADIO FROM REMUERA Wireless advice from the New Zealand Shipping Company's liner Remuera last night reported that she will arrive at Auckland from London, via Panama, at noon on Monday. THE LLANGOLLEN The British steamer Llangollen, discharging sugar from Sourabaya at is expected to complete next Thursday. No sailing orders have yet been received. THE TOLTEN'S ADVICE A wireless message from the Union Company's chartered motor-ship Tolten reported that she will arrive at Auckland early on Saturday morning from the Pacific Coast, via Papeete. REMUERA FROM LONDON No wireless advice has yet been received from the New Zealand Shipping Company's liner Remuera, scheduled to reach Auckland from London, via Panama, on Monday. • „ROTOfIUA TO LOAD It was hoped to despatch the New Zealand Shipping Company's liner Rolorua from Toknmaru Bay at midnight last night fur Auckland. She is expected here this evening to continue loading for London. THE DORIC STAR The Blue Star steamer Doric Star berthed yesterday morning at Central Wharf tor final loading for London, Hull and New-castle-on-Tyne. She is expected to sail, via Panama, on Tuesday. MATAKANA DELAYED The Shaw. Savill and Albion steamer Matakana did not leave New Plymouth for Auckland until 3.3U yesterday afternoon. She will now arrive to-morrow to complete loading for London and West Coast ports of Britain. MATUA TO-MORROW The Union Company's motor-ship Matua, with passengers and cargo from the Cook Islands, will arrive at <>.3o to-morrow morning from Rarot'onga and berth at Prince's Wharf. She is expected to sail at noon on Saturday for Nukualofa, Apia and Suva. THE AfiAWA'S PROGRESS The Shaw, Savill and Albion Company has received a wireless message from its liner Arawa reporting that she has experienced smooth seas but dull and rainy weather. The Arawa, which left Wellington on May 21 for Southampton and London, cleared Panama at noon on Sunday. BRISBANE STAR'S PASSAGE The Blue Star Line has received cabled advice that, on her recent voyagre from Auckland to London, the motor-ship Brisbane Star's elapsed time was 28 days 9 hours and her steaming time was 28 days l/> hours. The Brisbane Star sailed via Panama and reached London on May 25. TROJAN STAR REPORTS Wireless advice from the Blue Star steamer Trojan Star, on route from London, via Panama, reports that she expects to reach Auckland at midnight on Monday. The Trojan Star will discharge explosives and a small quantity of girders into lighters at the Motuihi anchorage and will not enter port. She will proceed to Wellington, Lyttelton and New Plymouth, discharging to the agency of the New Zealand Shipping Company.
