Public notico is hereby given of the prohibition by Order-in-Council and By-law of the removal of sand and shell from the Bays and Beaches in the County of Waitemata, extending from the Waiwera River to the Wairau Creek, Milford, without tho prior consent of the Minister of Marine. For any breach in this respect action will be taken against offenders in terms of an Order-in-Council of the Governor-General, issued on April 14. 1025. The said Order-in-Council vests the control of these foreshores under the jurisdiction of the Waitemata Countv Council and By-laws made by the Council covering the matter will be strictly enforced in the future.
