international salon OISPLAY AT* WINTER SHOW many attend private view [from our own correspondent] HAMILTON, Tuesday 'Ji private view of tho international photographic salon at tho Wnikato Winter Show was held by the Waikato Winter Show Association in tho concert chamber last nighc There was a large attendance of guests who viewed uith interest tho lino collection of photographs of other countries by some of the world's most famous exhibitors. Attractive decorations had been carried cut with punga fronds and leaves. The back of the stage was arranged n-ith ferns and the front with branches 0 f leaves in autumn tonings. Tho president of the association, Mr. p Bullock, welcomed the guests and the exhibition was, officially opened by >lr, H. K. Gaze. A programme of items was given by Mrs. C. Wilson, Mrs. C. F. O'Connor, Mrs. S. H. Ellis (Ohaupo), and Miss M Roe. The accompanists were Mrs. A. English, Mrs. H. Hammond and Mr. L. H. Cameron. ' The guests were received by Mr. and Mrs. Bullock, tho latter wearing a gown of black chiffon velvet. Among those present were: —Mrs. JR. English, Mrs. C. L.
