ERECTION AT OTAHUHU ANOTHER 25 TO BE BUILT Tenders for the erection of an additional 25 houses at Otahuhu are to be called by the Department of Housing Construction, according to advice received by the Mayor of Otahuhu, Mr. 0. R. Petrie, M.P., from the Parliamentary Under-Secretary for Housing, Mr, J. A. Lee. It is proposed to let three contracts for the houses, which are to be erected on Mennie's estate. This property, which was acquired by the State a few months ago, has a frontage to Walmsley Road, and is only a few minutes' Iwalk from the railway station and bus routes.
