NORTHCOTE BOROUGH

LARGER WATER SUPPLY The Nortlicote Borough Council last night instructed Mr. A. Greville Walker, consulting engineer, to prepare plans and estimates for enlarging the waterworks reservoir. The Mayor, Mr. R. Martin, stated that tho present capacity of the reservoir was only 110,000 gallons, but this could be increased to 330,000 gallons. Mr. E. C. Fowler was appointed deputy-niavor. The Mayor and Mr. A. Golden were appointed to represent Northcote on the North Shore Destructor Committee.
