WORK FOR TEMPERANCE

Tho monthly meeting of tho Auckland district executive of tho Women's Christian Tenipcraneo Union was held in the Temperance Boom, Unity Hall, on Monday. The district president, Miss L. M. Bead, presided, and the devotions were led by Mrs. Christopher, district evangelistic superintendent. A report of tho work done at the temperance stall at the Auckland Winter Show was presented and showed that about 400 temperance pledges had been taken by children and young people.
