BRIDGE AFTERNOON

PONSONBY CROQUET CLUB A pleasant bridge afternoon was held by the Ponsonby Croquet Club in the Farmers' Trading Company's tea rooms recently. The winner of the highest score was Mrs. Bolton, while the consolation prize was won by Mrs. DearJey, and the hidden number prizes by Miss Brown and Mrs. Bishop. Among the players were visitors from other centres including Napier, Gisborne and New Plymouth, as well as several from overseas.
