FRESH ATTACK

SPANISH REBELS ADVANCES CLAIMED DELAY IN OFFENSIVE HEAVY CASUALTY LISTS By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright LONDON, May 18 After a partial lull of three weeks, the insurgents again attacked between Teruel and the sea, says a message from Burgos. They claim to have made advances and to have dominated Mosqueruela and gained 62 square miles of territory since May 15. Heavy rain caused a standstill in the offensive to-day. The loyalists claim to have recaptured Corbalan. Tho rebels blame the weather for the slowing up of their advance on Castellon, but tho delay is believed to be due to difficulty in replacing casualties, says the Barcelona correspondent of the Daily Telegraph. It is admitted that many hundreds of Italians were killed, and, as the average of dead to wounded is usually one to five, the Italian losses must have hampered General Franco.
