OPOTIKI OFFICERS ELECTED [by TELEGRAPH OWN correspondent] OPOTIKI, Thursday There was a large attendance at the annual mooting of the Opotiki Boxing Association. The balance-sheet showed "a credit of £'23, there being a loss of £7 on last season's tourneys. The election of officers resulted as follows: —Patron, Mr. G. S. Moody; president, Mr. T. G. M. Johnson; vice-presidents, Messrs. C. Tabb, W. Stevens, S. Jepson, J. Mansoll, H. Parkinson J. J. Moody, E. Jalker, P. 800. J. O'Sullivan, sen., E. Burton, R. Mcllwralth: secretary, Mr. T. Hickey; treasurer, Mr. T.Hill; committee, Messrs. A. Alder, 11. Black, C. Tabb, S. Jephon, J. Mansell, H. Parkinson, C. Morris G. Lysaght, P. Chambers, J. O'Sullivan, jun.; hon. surgeons. Drs. A. J. Brass. H. Mail; hon. solicitor, Mr. G. B. Murray; hon. auditor, Mr. P, J. Cox; official trainers, Messrs. B. and U. Mulherfti referee, Mr. J. O'Sullivan, jun. It was decided to hold two tournaments and if these were successful an additional tourney would, be staged.
