In common with some others; the Bay of Islands Club was ■ utiable to carry on when the depression came, and transferred its totalisator permit to the Franklin Racing Club oh condition that the bank overdraft teas liquidated. .The purchaser of the property was Mr. J. Broiefort arrived only recently iu Dominion. The new sire is by Blandford from Innoxa, by Sans le Sou, from a mare by Le Sancy.
