There was an average attendance, the totalisator handling, £11,560 10s. against £10.497 for the first day last year, an increase of £1063 10s. In common with some others; the Bay of Islands Club was ■ utiable to carry on when the depression came, and transferred its totalisator permit to the Franklin Racing Club oh condition that the bank overdraft teas liquidated. .The purchaser of the property was Mr. J.
